A league for your street, your child's class or your mates: who wins this week? Members see your first name (and your street, if whoever started it chose that), never your house number.

Set a challenge

Pick a street, an era of history and three machines: everyone you send it to plays the same defence, and their first go counts. A league's challenge runs Monday to Sunday, with its own table.

Keep your progress safe

Your streets, stars, crowns, the Museum, your passport and your leagues live in this browser. Some browsers clear them after a week away. A save code brings everything back, on any phone or browser.

The code locks your save on this device before it's sent: we only keep a box we can't open. No account, no email. Keep the code somewhere safe; we can't recover it for you. Once you have one, your box quietly updates once a day.

Doorstep Defence

Made by one designer in London. It started with a simple wish: to see aliens come down your own road, past your own pub, and stop them with the neighbours' houses.

The music is written for the game: eight tracks, a different one each night.

How it's built. It's designed and play-tested on a real street. An AI coding assistant writes most of the code. The streets, houses and local places come from OpenStreetMap volunteers, via OpenFreeMap; the 3D is three.js.

Your privacy. No accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies. Your postcode or street is looked up through our server so OpenStreetMap isn't flooded; we keep a fingerprint of the search (not the words) for 90 days so repeat lookups are instant. We count anonymous events by postcode area only, like "SE1".

Half to charity. 50% of all the game's profits go to charity. The rest keeps the servers running. Profit is what's left of what people pay after VAT, the payment fee and the servers.
